Hot Off The Press

Every been frustrated with grooming?  Brigitte Jespersen and Helle Sydendal have just written and published a grooming book specifically for Cotons.  It has excellent detail and beautiful pictures.  I would highly recommend this book to all that own a Coton.  To purchase the book visit cotongrooming.com .

Coming Soon to Whispering Lane

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newest addition to the Whispering Lane Cotons. At just 7 weeks our precious little gal is showing great promise.   She is the offspring of Brigitte Jespersen's double World Champion Bahiya and Spinning Cesare.    We feel so honored not only for the opportunity to own such a beautiful dog but also the honor of getting to know such a special person. We look forward to a lasting friendship with our new friend in Denmark, Brigitte Jespersen.

2011 UKC, Three Take Top Ten

We are proud to announce that Whispering Lane finishes the year by holding three of the top 10 spots in the UKC rankings for 2011. Our Bark at the Moon took the number one spot followed by 007 in the number three spot. Artic Blast finished at fifth place. During the year several of our other dogs held a place on the top ten but could not hold on in the final standings. Honorable mentions go to our rising star Misaki, All About Me, Madame Butterfly and Mozart.

We also put in a very impressive showing By Grand Championing three of our dogs and Championing three dogs. We are proud of the direction our breeding program is going. The proof is in the depth of success of our dogs.

Looking toward next year we are very excited to see how some of our new babies will perform. We have welcomed some new hopefuls with the addition of our Bluebell Babies, Kisses and Orion. We also look forward to adding a very special addition from Denmark come springtime.

Whispering Lane Has a New Champion

Whispering Lane's Misaki wins breed points and Champions at the Bel Aire, UKC Show

2010 Turned Out to Be a Very Good Year Here at Whispering Lane

The rankings are out for 2010 and we are proud to announce that Whispering Lane put in a excellent showing taking the top 6 spots of ACC. Our Ozzy for the second year in a row has managed in just four months to take the first spot followed by our own breedings of oo7, All About Me and Joe Paws. 007 and Joe Paws also were able to earn their ACC Championships. Further Ozzie took the second place ranking in UKC's Top Ten and recently went on to take Best of Breed at UKC's Top Ten Invitational. This is a competition where only the Top Ten of each breed are invited to compete against each other to challenge each others rankings. Last year in UKC we championed four dogs Ozzy, 007, All About Me and Artic Blast. Not bad for a year of work! We are so proud of our dogs and are so pleased with each of their accomplishments.

2011 is shaping up to be another banner year. We are well on our way to seeking Grand Champions in UKC. We currently hold the top rankings and have four dogs currently in Top Ten. Look out because we have some up and coming stars. Our Madame Butterfly has already flitted 5 Best in Show Puppy with some very stiff competition and will begin regular competition at our next show and Misaki has spunk like her Mother (Kiss Me I'm Perfect) and will be entering her very first show very soon. Let's not forget Sunni who will also be competing in her first show giving her sister Madame Butterfly a run for her money. We look forward to what is to come and thank all who have supported us in our program.

Ozzy Wins Best of Breed at UKC's Top Ten Premiere

A New Grand Champion is Born!

Our Ozzie is still adding to his numerous titles. UKC Grand Champion is his latest. It is just in time before he will strut his stuff in Michigan at the UKC Premiere. We feel very blessed that we are invited to participate.

We also would like to congratulate our Ozzie and James for their recent wins at the ACTA National Specialty in Long Island. Ozzie took Best of Breed and James took Best Bred By. Way to Go Boys!
